Helichrysum petiolare

Common Name: Licorice plant

A great silver foliage plant that doesn’t rot in our humidity! Quick growing but needs pruning regularly to keep it compact. It tolerates some shade here in my garden but also loves the sun. Apparently it got its name because it has a faint licorice smell – but I can’t smell it!

Note: This is one of those plants that never looks like much in a pot. But once it hits the ground it romps away.
