Delivery of plants

Plants are sent all year round apart from the very hot months or when a week of extreme temperatures is expected. During Winter some plants may be dormant or bare if deciduous. All orders received by 12 noon on a Friday are picked and set aside ready for packaging and posting Monday morning. If Monday or Friday are public holidays, the order will be sent the week after.  Plants are carefully packed in a box with the soil and foliage protected. In some instances a plant may be required to be cut back to accommodate being posted safely- especially grasses and strappy foliage plants.

All orders are sent via Australia Post and postage is calculated at check out stage. We have found that plants posted on a Monday generally reach their destination the same week. We post orders to NSW, VIC, ACT and QLD. We do not post to SA, TAS, WA and NT because of quarantine controls. You will receive an email once your order has been despatched. If you have not received your delivery within 10 working days, please contact us and we shall investigate for you.

The boxes fit six plants comfortably so it's always more economical to order plants in groups of six to get the most from the postage costs. We do not charge for packing and handling.

While we endeavour to keep the available stock levels on the website accurate, occasionally plants in stock may not be available or may not be high enough quality to send. We will contact you to offer an alternative or arrange a refund.

When you receive your plants, carefully unpack them, give them a drink and leave them in the shade for a week or so to recover before planting out or potting on.

Local Pick Up

If you have selected the local pick up option we will email you with available pick up times. However please note that these times are limited.

Payment

We prefer payment by bank transfer in order to avoid ever increasing bank fees however credit card payments are also accepted.

Refunds

All of our plants leave the nursery in good condition. If, for reasons out of our control, there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photo evidence so we can help resolve the problem.

Please note that we will only provide refunds on plants that are dead or are dying upon receipt. This does not mean yellowing or brown leaves as these are all part of a plant's natural life cycle.
